Privacy policy
The short version: no ads, no analytics, no cookies on this site, and your match data stays yours.

Who we are
PoolStats is a pool match tracking and statistics app. This policy covers both this website and the PoolStats app. For anything about your data, write to hello@mypoolstats.com.
This website
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs, such as the IP address and time of each request, for security and operations. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.
What the app stores
When you create a PoolStats account and use the app, we store:
- Your email address and sign-in credentials, managed through Supabase authentication. Passwords are stored only in hashed form.
- The profile details you choose to add, such as your display name and optional player IDs from other pool services, used to help match claiming.
- The pool data you record: matches, racks, shots, scores, playing conditions, and practice sessions.
Who can see your data
Nothing about you is public unless you choose to make it public. A match is visible to the people involved in it, the players and whoever recorded it. Your stats are visible to you.
Names you enter about other people
When you record a match against someone, the name and any optional contact details you enter for them are stored with that match. They are used for one purpose: to let that player find the match and claim their side of it. If you enter someone's details, make sure they are happy with that. If a match mentions you and you want it corrected or removed, contact us.
Where your data lives
Account and match data is stored in a managed database hosted by Supabase, and processed by our application servers hosted on Railway. This website is hosted on Vercel. These providers act as our data processors and do not use your data for their own purposes.
Emails
We send emails only when your account needs them, such as sign-in confirmation and password reset, or when you ask us to notify an opponent about a match. We send no marketing emails.
What we never do
- We show no ads.
- We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
- We run no third-party analytics or tracking.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and its data. Write to hello@mypoolstats.com and we will handle it. If you are in the EU, these rights come from the GDPR, and you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
